Individuals wanting to become a member of Mensa have two ways to qualify to join:
(1) Submitting previous evidence of an approved standardized test/IQ test performed by an independent third party with overall results putting you in the top 2% of test takers, e.g., LSAT ≥95th percentile, MAT ≥95th percentile, WAIS/WISC FSIQ ≥130 overall, and many more. A partial list of accepted tests and scores is available here. Further questions about prior evidence admission to Mensa may be answered by calling Mensa’s national office at 817-607-0060.
-or-
(2) Successfully completing the standardized Mensa admission testing battery, consisting of two separate tests, with a score on either test correlating to an IQ ≥130 / top 2%. The Mensa Admission Test takes between one to two hours to complete. Individuals may take a test or test battery once every eight weeks. This option is available at regular intervals from Central Indiana Mensa, with our upcoming testing dates listed below. If you are already a member, please spread the word to friends who may be interested in joining us.
